The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flacide gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Morales.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Flacide isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Morales stacks Flacide on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Morales!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Helio Flacide will probably get the nod.

and Morales counters with a crisp one two that drops Flacide! Morales thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Flacide to his feet! Flacide is in big trouble!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morales connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Flacide to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Morales!

A very excited looking Omari Morales rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
