Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Diego!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Hole!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diego lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Diego.

Hole dives in and scores a takedown into Diego's guard.
Diego definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hole seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
It looks like Hole might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hole has control of Diego's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Diego regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Diego is desperately trying to improve his position but Hole has a good base and remains in mount.

Hole darts in looking for a takedown but Diego gets double underhooks and turns Hole into the cage.

Hole has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Diego lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hole circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dan Diego has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Hole.

Hole changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Diego looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Let's hope that Hole has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Diego will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Hole dives in and grabs Diego's left leg, looking for a takedown. Diego pushes down on Hole's head and hops out.

Hole is taking a breather. Diego says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
