Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ko Van Den Born (ranked 1075 p4p, 925 weight class) and Kazuma Kiryu (ranked 155 p4p, 129 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A close round but Kazuma Kiryu will probably get the nod.

That's time! Van Den Born's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The fighters circling - Van Den Born throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kiryu goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kiryu bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

It appears Van Den Born was looking to counter with a kick there.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Kiryu in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Oh Van Den Born is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Van Den Born quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

The cut above Kazuma Kiryu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Van Den Born breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Van Den Born counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kazuma Kiryu's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Kiryu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice straight punches there by Kiryu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kiryu.
Van Den Born defending well as Kiryu loads up on a big left hand.
Van Den Born looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Van Den Born goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kiryu tries to counter with a clinch but Van Den Born shakes him off and moves away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kazuma Kiryu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kiryu has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kiryu knocks out Van Den Born with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Kiryu before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Kiryu picks up the big W with a huge KO!
