PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 1172 p4p, 3647 weight class) and Adam Bogo (ranked 80 p4p, 196 weight class). Dux comes to the cage accompanied by Bloodsport. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Dux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Bogo!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dux gets a clinch.

Dux has picked Bogo up - he's going for a ride! Dux dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Dux uses his free foot to push down on Bogo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bogo.

Dux cracks Bogo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bogo is in a horrible position here. Dux smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bogo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Dux has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bogo's face.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dux lands a nice short elbow.

Dux's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dux goes for a double leg but Bogo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bogo continues to drive forward.

Dux shoots in looking for a takedown. Bogo tries to sprawl out of it but Dux keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bogo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Dux. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dux shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bogo sprawls well. Bogo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dux gets slowly back to his feet.
