Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uchima Gonshiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Rodrigues!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gonshiro on the side of the head.
Rodrigues connects with a nice looking jab.
Gonshiro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rodrigues is fending him off so far but Gonshiro persists. Nope, Rodrigues circles away and we're back to standing.
Rodrigues cracks Gonshiro with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Gonshiro shoots in looking for a takedown but Rodrigues manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gonshiro's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
No luck for Gonshiro with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uchima Gonshiro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gonshiro tries to close the distance and clinch but Rodrigues swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rodrigues tests Gonshiro's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gonshiro fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
The crowd cheers as Rodrigues lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gonshiro doesn't seem phased though.

Gonshiro circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Rodrigues. Gonshiro falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Rodrigues!
