Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riminal on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ryan fails to land with a series of punches.
Riminal is looking to counter with head kicks.
Ryan dips to his left and cracks Riminal with an uppercut!
Ryan slips a straight right by Riminal.
Ryan is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Ryan blocks a head kick by Riminal.
Riminal looks for a takedown but Ryan sprawls well.
Ryan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Riminal defends well and Ryan ends up having to push Riminal into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ser Bian Warc Riminal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riminal blocks a jab.
Ryan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Riminal punishes Ryan's body with a nice straight punch.
Riminal lands a head kick. Ryan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Riminal tries a low kick but Ryan avoids it.
It seemed like Ryan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ryan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Ryan misses with a looping left.
Riminal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ryan but Ryan pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ryan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Riminal to score with a decent uppercut.
Riminal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ryan moves away.
Ryan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Riminal's hands.

Riminal takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Ryan counters with a takedown into side control.

Ryan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Riminal is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ryan gets to mount! Riminal was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Riminal is looking to improve his position but Ryan isn't that keen on the idea.
Riminal tries to hold on but Ryan pushes him away.

Ryan avoids the attempt from Riminal to control.
Riminal manages to regain half guard. Good work.
We've been hearing good reports from Riminal's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Ryan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Riminal is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ryan pulls his head out easily.

Riminal pushes a forearm under Ryan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ryan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
