Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Cabrera (ranked 4448 p4p, 4829 weight class) and Krzysztof Heimler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krzysztof Heimler will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Heimler.
Cabrera tried to counter with a leg kick but Heimler avoided it.
Cabrera gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Heimler loads up on a big right hand but Cabrera slips the punch.
Cabrera feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Cabrera ducks under a wild hook from Heimler.
Cabrera wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Heimler instigates a clinch.
Heimler tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cabrera avoids it.
Cabrera drops down looking for an ankle pick but Heimler pulls his leg out and moves away.
Heimler pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cabrera ducks under a wild hook from Heimler.
Some bone on bone action there as Heimler checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cabrera closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cabrera lands in his opponent's guard.

Heimler pushes Cabrera off and scrambles back to his feet.
Heimler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cabrera moves away.
Cabrera seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Heimler looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cabrera takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Heimler missing with a left hand there. Cabrera was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Heimler is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cabrera.
Krzysztof Heimler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Heimler slaps away a takedown attempt from Cabrera, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Heimler cracks Cabrera with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Heimler has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cabrera to stand back up!

It looks like Miguel Cabrera has been cut.
Cabrera on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Heimler lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Cabrera up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Heimler from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Cabrera's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Krzysztof Heimler decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
