The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stukov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Junior tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Junior takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Stukov throws a shot from downtown. Junior moves away and avoids it.
Stukov misses with a low kick.
Junior tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Stukov manages to circle out of the way.
Junior tries to close the distance and clinch but Stukov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Junior tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stukov just stands there and leans against the cage.

Junior jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stukov walks away with a smile on his face. Junior gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Stukov's coach down at Elite Island Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stukov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Blake Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stukov misses with a low kick.
Junior tries to clinch up.
Junior moves in looking to clinch but Stukov pushes him off.
Stukov circles away from the clinch attempt
and Stukov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Junior wants to clinch up but Stukov keeps it at a distance.
Stukov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Junior is looking to counter the offense by Stukov and move into the clinch.

As Stukov tries to get set, Junior tries to push him back and clinch up but Stukov manages to avoid the attempt.

Stukov swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Stukov misses the shot to the body.
Junior looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
