Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wulfgang Abendroth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juggaloz Kai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wulfgang Abendroth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juggaloz Kai!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kai takes the fight into the clinch.
Abendroth throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kais head.
Abendroth pushes Kai back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Kai drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kai's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Abendroth lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kai backwards.

Abendroth breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Abendroth.
Kai fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Abendroth tries to clinch but Kai moves away

so Kai counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Abendroth wants to stand up but Kai is controlling him.

Abendroth pushes Kai off and gets back to his feet.
Kai shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Abendroth counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Abendroth.
Wulfgang Abendroth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juggaloz Kai.
Abendroth scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Abendroth tries to break free but Kai pushes him back against the ropes.

Abendroth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Abendroth darts in trying to clinch

and Kai counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kai trying to control from half guard but Abendroth is working away.
Kai prevents Abendroth from standing back up.
Kai is pressing down on Abendroth's thigh, looking to free his foot. Abendroth is holding on for now.

Kai wants to work for an arm triangle but Abendroth is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Abendroth wants to get back to his feet.
Kai thows a huge punch but Abendroth dodges it nicely.
Abendroth pushes Kai off looking to stand but Kai dives back in and keeps control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Abendroth throws a nice looking combination but Kai bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Abendroth is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Abendroth tries to clinch

Kai trying to control the position from guard on top but Abendroth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Abendroth on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Abendroth tries to get out of the position.
Kai trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kai controlling from the top position.
Kai has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kai trying to control the position from guard on top but Abendroth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Abendroth is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kai dives into side control.

Kai is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Abendroth looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kai gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Abendroth is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kai lets go of the hold and Abendroth can pop his arm back in it's socket.
