PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Tessin (ranked 3452 p4p, 4592 weight class) and Island Chief (ranked 462 p4p, 542 weight class). Island Chief struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Randy Tessin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Island Chief!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

enabling Tessin to counter with a crisp jab.
Chief shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tessin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Chief has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Chief takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Chief closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
