Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Batt (ranked 4269 p4p, 25477 weight class) and Nep Nep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dylan Batt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nep Nep! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nep closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Batt to the mat! Batt manages to get full guard. Batt throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nep escapes and throws Batt's legs to the side, diving into side control! Nep tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nep has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Nep decides to take the fight back to the feet. Nep shoots in and bounces Batt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Nep must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batt trying to keep a closed guard but Nep is proving a slippery customer.
Batt looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nep gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Nep drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Batt throws Nep to one side and escapes! Nep decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Nep wants to stand up but Batt is controlling the position.
Nep throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nep thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Batt wants to improve his position but Nep is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Batt is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nep wants to take a breather but Batt is having none of it. Batt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nep is working away from the top position though. Nep keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Batt wants to get back to full guard. Batt moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Nep throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Batt works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Batt manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Come on Nep - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Nep has Batt pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nep pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Batt tumbling to the mat - Nep dives into Batt's guard. Batt has his feet on Nep's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Batt looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Batt is keen to just control but Nep is a slippery customer. Nep is trying to get back to full guard. Batt is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Batt wants to take a breather but Nep is having none of it. Nep tries to roll over but Batt keeps him under control. Nep is refusing to be controlled, as Batt sits in half guard. Batt decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Batt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nep lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Nep pushes Batt up against the cage in a clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A head punch on the inside from Nep fails to land. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dylan Batt will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Nep throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Batt was covering up waiting for the punch and Nep finishes the takedown easily into guard. Batt managing to control the position. Batt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nep defends it easily. Batt looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batt is trying to keep Nep in close.
Dylan Batt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Batt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batt seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Batt tries to pass to full mount but Nep defends it. Batt thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Nep tries to roll over but Batt keeps him under control. Nep trying to control but Batt postures up.
Batt wants to pass the guard but Nep is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nep keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Batt keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Batt is working for a submission of some sort.
Nep is not content to let Batt control the position. Batt sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nep defending well though. Batt is trying to work for a kimura but Nep is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nep is pressing down on Batt's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Batt tries to free his leg and advance position but Nep is retaining full guard. Batt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Batt won't allow Nep to get back to his feet. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Batt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nep manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Batt has Nep in his guard. Batt looking to control.
Nep throws a big elbow that misses. Batt keeping moving, preventing Nep from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Batt wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nep scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Nep tries to advance to mount but Batt denies him. Batt is looking for a sweep. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dylan Batt will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Nep scores with a takedown into Batt's guard. Nep gets to his feet. Batt looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Nep fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Batt, pushing him back against the cage. Batt taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Nep gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Batt kicks off Nep and gets to his feet. Batt throws a push kick but Nep slaps the foot to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nep drives through with a takedown into guard. Nep really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Batt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nep takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Batt wants to sweep but no luck. Nep stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Batt swivels though and keeps the full guard. Batt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nep's guard.
Batt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Batt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nep. Nep takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Batt tries to close the distance and clinch but Nep swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nep fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Batt sprawls well initially but Nep persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Batt gets back to full guard.
Batt throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Batt has his foot on Nep's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nep works his way back into a safe position though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Batt trying to keep a closed guard but Nep is proving a slippery customer.
Batt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nep is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Batt not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Batt is pulling down on Nep's head. It's preventing any offense from Nep, at least for the moment. Batt throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Batt is looking for a triangle here but Nep uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Batt can't do much from the bottom here. Batt managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Nep.
Nep is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Batt has escaped the position, nice work there. Dylan Batt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Batt is looking to regain half guard here but Nep keeps moving and retains side control. Nep Nep has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nep is trying to get an arm triangle but Batt is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Dylan Batt showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Batt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
