The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander misses with a head kick.

Alexander changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Prodigy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The Prodigy manages to get back to half guard.
The Prodigy is trying to stand up here but Alexander is controlling him well.
The Prodigy gets back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alexander is looking to advance position but The Prodigy has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The Prodigy is working for a guillotine from mount but Alexander frees his head quite easily.

Alexander tries to reverse the position but The Prodigy maintains control.

The Prodigy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Alexander is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Alexander flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. The Prodigy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Alexander and secures both hooks! This could be bad! The Prodigy slips an arm under Alexander chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. The Prodigy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. The Prodigy is squeezing on Alexander like an anaconda would it's prey. Alexander fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
