The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twist pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jackson back to the cage. Twist follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
A jab from Twist does it's job there.
Twist keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jackson tries for a takedown but Twist sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Twist throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
No joy there for Twist, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jackson appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Jackson has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Curtis Jackson . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Twist sprawls well. Twist wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.
Twist is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Twist really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jackson throws a big right hand that misses.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Twist manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Twist has had enough of the clinch but Jackson keeps him there for the moment.
Jackson is looking to take this one to the mat.
Jackson goes for a takedown attempt but Twist pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Twist as he avoids it easily.
Twist replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Jackson blocks it well.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Twist!
Jackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Twist sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackson somewhat.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Twist shows good takedown defense.

Jackson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Twist wants to get back to his feet.
Still in half guard, Jackson seems content to control.

Twist is bucking up trying to escape but Jackson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jackson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Jackson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Twist is squirming around, avoiding Jackson 's attempts to control the action.
Twist avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jackson .
You get the feeling that Twist really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Poor strikes thrown by Jackson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Twist holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Jackson tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Twist is squirming around, avoiding Jackson 's attempts to control the action.

Jackson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Twist is rocked!
Jackson is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Twist goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Jackson !
