The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutsu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fighters circling - Clarkson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Clarkson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gutsu pinned against the cage. Gutsu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've been hearing reports that Clarkson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Gutsu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Clarkson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gutsu has managed to get both his arms back between Clarkson's legs - danger averted.

Clarkson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gutsu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gutsu has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Clarkson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gutsu is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Clarkson pulls down on the head and he's put Gutsu to sleep! This one is all over!
