Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 34 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bill Goldberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Xue Fang!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg throws a series of punches but Fang moves out of range.
Fang slips a jab and a cross from Goldberg.
Fang chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fang misses the shot to the body.
Goldberg takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fang, as that shot connected.
Goldberg misses with a few strikes there.
Fang fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fang fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Fang uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Goldberg has time to react.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fang lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Goldberg is rocked!
Fang is stalking Goldberg. Goldberg circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Fang, and it's lights out! Goldberg really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Xue Fang!
A relieved looking Xue Fang thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
