These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 39 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Tate Iii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate Iii digs a good hook to Gunn's body.
Gunn scores with a head kick.
Some wild striking there from Tate Iii.
Tate Iii lands with a nice body punch.
Tate Iii throws a nice looking combination but Gunn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tate Iii blocks the body kick.
Tate Iii went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Gunn lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Tate Iii works over Gunn's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Tommy Gunn has been cut.

Tate Iii lands a nice hook to Gunn's body. Gunn takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gunn doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tate Iii cracks a nice hook into Gunn's ribs.
Tate Iii throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gunn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Tate Iii lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Gunn goes down! The ref sends Tate Iii to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Gunn is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

Gunn dodges the punch combination from Tate Iii.
Gunn throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Tate Iii counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Gunn on his ass! Gunn wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!

Tate Iii drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Gunn onto his butt! Gunn pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

Gunn is rocked!

That has opened up Tommy Gunn's cut even more.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gunn misses with a double jab.
Tate Iii dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tate Iii scores with a jab to the jaw.
Gunn is still on wobbly legs! Can Tate Iii finish him?
Tate Iii is looking to wear down Gunn with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
An inside leg kick lands from Gunn.
Gunn walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Gunn is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
