The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hunt darts in and clinches Vizcarrondo up against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Vizcarrondo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Vizcarrondo has picked Hunt up - he's going for a ride! Vizcarrondo dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vizcarrondo is cranking Hunt's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Hunt! He's tightened the choke and Hunt is tapping out!
