Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Punch Power!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mateo Embry!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Power's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Embry connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Power scrambles back to his feet.
Power throws a head kick but Embry moves out of range.
Embry connects with a jab.
Embry cracks Power with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Embry throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Embry sizes up Power with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Power throws a head kick that misses.

Power fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Embry sprawls well initially but Power persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Embry manages to escape and get back to his feet!

A nice side step and Embry releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Power fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Embry avoids it really well and circles away.
Embry looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Power jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Power shoots for a takedown but Embry saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Embry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Embry has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Power finds it's way round the side to connect with Embry's head.
Embry is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

It seemed like Embry was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
