Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ja Maica (ranked 6357 p4p, 3502 weight class) and Mun Sun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ja Maica could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mun Sun's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maica lands a nice looking body shot.
Sun takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Maica smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Maica counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sun can't keep his opponent in guard - Maica advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Sun tries to get to full guard but Maica has control of the leg.

Sun seems a little lost for a moment, as Maica dominates the positioning.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Maica's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Sun trying to control but Maica flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Maica just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Sun is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Sun is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Sun tries to roll but Maica sticks to his back.
Maica really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Sun.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maica doesn't have the hooks in and Sun manages to turn into his guard.

Sun is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Maica is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Maica has escaped and now he's on top!
Maica slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sun is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sun is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Maica defends well.

Ja Maica dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Sun scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sun throws a body shot but no joy.
Maica misses with a series of wild punches.

and Maica counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Maica scores with a one two! Sun had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Ja Maica is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Maica dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Maica lunges at Sun with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sun's hand.
Maica defending well as Sun loads up on a big left hand.
Sun stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Maica.

and Maica counters with a two punch combo.
Maica connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Sun tumbling to the canvas! Maica pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Sun was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ja Maica!
Ja Maica tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
