Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmitt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mitchell.
Schmitt was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Mitchell slips a jab from Schmitt.
Mitchell looks to throw the jab but Schmitt is out of range.
Mitchell looks to land a left hand but Schmitt moved out of range nicely.

Mitchell cracks Schmitt with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

The fighters circling - Mitchell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Schmitt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mitchell on the side of the head.
It looks like Hershel Mitchell has been cut.
Schmitt clobbers Mitchell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Schmitt fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mitchell takes a jab right on the kisser.

and Schmitt counters with a stiff right hand.
Mitchell is still on wobbly legs! Can Schmitt finish him?
Mitchell misses with a straight right.
Schmitt throws an uppercut from hell that sends Mitchell clean off his feet! He's out cold! Schmitt stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
