Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brayden Greene (ranked 5807 p4p, 6033 weight class) and Matias H Rees (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brayden Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matias H Rees!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene misses with a left hand

and Rees holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Greene has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rees has Greene pressed against the cage, preventing Greene from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Rees prevents Greene from breaking the clinch.

Rees manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Greene looking to sit in guard and control but Rees gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rees wants to pass the guard but Greene is keeping the position.
Rees postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rees controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Greene is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rees preventing the sweep.
Rees throws an elbow that misses. Greene uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rees's guard. Nice move by Greene!

Greene wants to control from the top but Rees keeps moving.
Greene knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rees on the ground.
Greene won't allow Rees to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Greene showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Greene postures up.
Greene wanted to stand there but Rees had control of the position.
Greene could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The fighters circling - Greene throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A big left from Greene misses.
Greene misses with a looping left.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rees staying out of range there.
Greene cracks Rees with a good jab.

Rees gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Greene wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Rees wants the takedown. Greene is fighting it off but Rees persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Greene's guard against the cage.
Rees pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Greene is keeping the position for now.
Rees missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Rees is pushing down on Greene's leg trying to pass to half guard. Greene is fighting to maintain full guard but Rees has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rees wants to lay and pray for a moment but Greene keeps working.
Greene keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Greene trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Rees manages to pass to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Greene's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Rees is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Greene to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Greene shrugs it off.
Rees trying to control but Greene is having none of it.
Rees might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Greene haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Greene tries to lock up and control but Rees gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Matias H Rees dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Greene pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rees back to the cage. Greene follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Greene misses with a series of wild punches.
Greene throws a lazy right hand but Rees sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Greene throws a right hand that Rees ducks under and follows up with a left that Rees also avoids with ease.
Rees unleashes a big counter combination but Greene bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Greene drops Rees with a big left hand! Rees is injured, injured bad! Greene jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brayden Greene!
Brayden Greene decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
