Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cudlitz tries to avoid it but Gruber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cudlitz to the ground. Cudlitz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cudlitz tries to counter with a takedown but Gruber is quick to defend against it.
Gruber tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Cudlitz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cudlitz.
Cudlitz postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Gruber looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Cudlitz puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cudlitz in particular looking to stall.
Gruber wants to get back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Cudlitz wants to free his trapped foot but Gruber is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Gruber is trying to stand up here but Cudlitz is controlling him well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cudlitz has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cudlitz pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The referee warns Gruber that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Gruber tries to lock up and control but Cudlitz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
BOOM! Cudlitz connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Cudlitz avoids the attempt from Gruber to control.

That has opened up Andreas Gruber's cut even more.

Cudlitz lands a couple of good shots and Gruber has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cudlitz has the hooks in. Gruber is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

A less than humble Michael Cudlitz misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
