PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stella Fella (ranked 24496 p4p, 3271 weight class) and Squeeler Gillroyy (ranked 419 p4p, 276 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Squeeler Gillroyy!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fella lands a right hook to the body.
Fella throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gillroyy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fella sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fella moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Fella keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gillroyy attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Fella throws a lazy uppercut

and Gillroyy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fella won't be happy with that.
Fella takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Fella is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fella avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gillroyy.
Gillroyy has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at HELLsinki. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Fella wants to control but Gillroyy postures up.

Gillroyy scores with punches from side control.
Fella tries to bench press Gillroyy off him but Gillroyy keeps the position.
Gillroyy cracks Fella with a big elbow.
Gillroyy lands a few punches from side control.
Fella is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Fella is trying to control Gillroyy's posture but Gillroyy avoids it.

Gillroyy has an Americana. Fella didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gillroyy is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gillroyy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
