Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ziggy Stardust (ranked 946 p4p, 1302 weight class) and Jack Falcon (ranked 129 p4p, 180 weight class). Stardust's entrance music is Starman. A fine choice. Falcon has chosen O RetrĂ´ Ativo - HerĂ³is do Status Quo as his entrance music. Ziggy Stardust has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ziggy Stardust!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Falcon!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stardust lands a leg kick that knocks Falcon off balance momentarily.
Falcon dips to his left and cracks Stardust with an uppercut!
Stardust connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Falcon ducks under a wild hook from Stardust.
Stardust connects with a solid leg kick.

Falcon throws a left that rocks Stardust and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Falcon dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Stardust regain composure!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Falcon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Falcon trying to control the position but Stardust is working away.
Falcon throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Falcon is trying to ground and pound but Stardust uses the momentary lack of control by Falcon to regain half guard.
Falcon stalling away here and it's allowed Stardust to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stardust keeping moving, preventing Falcon from controlling successfully.
Stardust avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Falcon trying to control the position from guard on top but Stardust is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Falcon looking to sit in guard and control but Stardust gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Stardust stands up and waves to Falcon to follow him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Falcon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Falcon scores with a hook.
Stardust cracks Falcon with an open hand slap.
Stardust throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Falcon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stardust - the referee stops the clock and Falcon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stardust. Falcon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Falcon misses with a wild combination.
Stardust looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Stardust throws a quick inside leg kick.
Stardust lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stardust.

It looks like Jack Falcon has been cut.
A low kick lands for Stardust.
Jack Falcon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut lands for Stardust. That snapped Falcon's head back.
Stardust ducks under a wild hook from Falcon.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stardust jabs Falcon right on the nose. Falcon blinks but takes it well.
Nice uppercut there from Stardust.
Stardust thumps Falcon with a low kick.
Stardust fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Falcon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Falcon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stardust counters with a low kick, right behind Falcon 's knee.
A nice leg kick from Stardust, right into the meat of the thigh.
Falcon moves out of range of the body kick.
Stardust ducks under a wild hook from Falcon.
Falcon throws a series of punches but Stardust avoids them all with ease.
Falcon throws a hook but Stardust blocks it.
Falcon fails to land with a series of punches.
Stardust lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Falcon misses with a wild combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stardust lands a lovely overhand right.
Falcon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stardust counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice straight punches there by Falcon. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Falcon.
Falcon misses with a straight right.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stardust lands a brutal head kick. Falcon looks out on his feet and Stardust throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Ziggy Stardust!
