The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forreal shoots in but Butler avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Forreal shoots in looking for a takedown but Butler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Forreal's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
An attempted straight right counter from Butler misses the target.
Butler has been working on his boxing with his coaches at PhoQus Island Training in the buildup to the fight.
Butler just misses with a punch to the body.
Butler avoids a kick to the body.
Forreal doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Butler counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Derrick Forreal has been cut.
Geezer Butler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derrick Forreal.
Butler looks to score with a jab to the body but Forreal is just out of range.

and Butler counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Butler jabs Forreal to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Butler throws a lazy right hand but Forreal sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Forreal uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Butler.
Butler misses with a hook.
Butler throws an overhand right that lands on Forreal's shoulder, as Forreal tries to avoid the shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Butler counters with a stiff right hand.

and Butler counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Butler drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Forreal right on the button. Forreal goes down! Butler follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Butler gets the win via TKO!
