The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickey slips a straight right by Smirnov.
Smirnov lands with a shot to the body.
Smirnov missing with a left hand there. Hickey was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Smirnov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hickey fails with the takedown.
Smirnov lands with a big right hook that stumbles Hickey - he's out on his feet here! Smirnov follows up with another monster hook that separates Hickey from consciousness! Hickey falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Smirnov stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
