The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Granite throws a front kick aimed at Knell's knee but Knell avoids it well.
Knell looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jimmy Granite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Granite throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Granite dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Granite misses with a looping left.
A little jabbing left from Knell on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Granite has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Slaughter Houze in the buildup to the fight.
Granite takes a swing at Knell's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Knell counters with a crisp right hand that drops Granite ! Knell lets Granite back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Jimmy Granite has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A decent looking cross lands there for Granite .
Oh Granite is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Death Knell has been cut.

Granite just misses with a punch to the body.
Granite seems to have got his legs back now.

and Knell counters with a crisp right that sends Granite to the canvas! Knell follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
