These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cardoso closes the distance and clinches up with Draven, looking for a takedown. cardoso pushes Draven against the cage but Draven circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
guilherme cardoso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
cardoso shoots in for a double leg but Draven sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Draven throws a head kick that misses.
cardoso slips a jab and a cross from Draven.
Draven tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but cardoso paws at him with a jab and circles away.

cardoso shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. cardoso showed some decent athleticism there.

cardoso is trying to work for a kimura but Draven is defending well.

cardoso is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Draven defends it well.

Draven really doesn't want to stay on the ground with cardoso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Draven kicks off cardoso and gets to his feet.
cardoso shoots for a takedown but Draven saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Draven tries to close the distance and clinch up but cardoso swats him away and circles back towards the center.
cardoso shoots in looking for a takedown. Draven tries to sprawl out of it but cardoso keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Draven manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Draven lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and cardoso falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
