Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 213 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frito Lei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Cudlitz!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cudlitz closes the distance and pushes Lei back into the cage.
Lei looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Cudlitz is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lei can't fight it off and eventually Cudlitz manages to take the fight to the floor. Lei looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cudlitz is standing up over Lei. Lei looks to escape but Cudlitz dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Cudlitz is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lei looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cudlitz gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lei is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cudlitz lets go of the hold and Lei can pop his arm back in it's socket.

In his post fight interview, Michael Cudlitz started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
