Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Warden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rick Derringer - I am a real American kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Warden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ron White!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
White avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Warden is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jason Warden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

White closes the distance and clinches.
Warden throws a knee to the head but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warden leaves White with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

It looks like Ron White has been cut.
Warden tries to clinch but White moves away

and White counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

White wants to work for an arm triangle but Warden is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

and White counters with a nice double leg into side control. Warden won't be happy with that.

White wants to lay and pray for a moment but Warden keeps working.

White goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Warden rolls with the submission and now he's on top in White's guard! Nice work there by Warden!
Warden loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
White has momentary wrist control but Warden slips an elbow through the middle.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Warden stands and steps away. White gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Warden will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ron White's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Warden gets underhooks to prevent White's takedown attempt.

White has clasped his hands together around Warden's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
White is looking to take a break and control but Warden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Warden is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Warden sneaks out the side door and pushes White away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as White holds on and takes a little breather.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Warden is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst White is controlling him.
White takes a decent strike to the side of the head.

White drops back looking for a leg! Warden is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Warden manages to kick White off! White jumps back into Warden's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Warden is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
White wants to clinch
and Warden finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jason Warden will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Warden wants to improve his position but White is controlling well.
Warden has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. White is working away from the top position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

White is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Warden.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Warden, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
