The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilavitku shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kapane pinned against the cage. Kapane gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Niko Hilavitku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hilavitku gets caught flat footed, as Kapane shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kapane avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hilavitku working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kapane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kapane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hilavitku is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kapane rolls with it to try and escape but Hilavitku cranks on the arm and Kapane is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
