Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Punch Bag (ranked 4681 p4p, 5015 weight class) and JoJo Tex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bag's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eye of the tiger. Punch Bag has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Punch Bag!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, JoJo Tex!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tex throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bag was covering up waiting for the punch and Tex finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bag wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Tex manages to pass to side control.

Tex wants to control but Bag is keeping him busy.
Tex landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Tex prevents Bag from standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tex controlling the action here.
Ground and pound from Tex.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tex trying to pass the guard but Bag defending well.
Tex looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Bag wants to control but Tex is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bag tries to roll over but Tex keeps him under control.
Tex performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Bag trying to hold on to Tex's head to control him but Tex postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tex is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Bag trying to keep a closed guard but Tex is proving a slippery customer.
Bag looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Tex darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bag is trying to stand back up but Tex is controlling him

Tex scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Tex decides to return to a standing position.
Tex slips a jab and a cross from Bag.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tex! But no joy.

Tex closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bag to the mat! Bag manages to get full guard.
Bag looking to control.

Bag looking for a sweep. Not yet Bag, not yet.
Tex landing with the ground and pound.
Bag working a defensive guard here.

Tex gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bag pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tex back to the cage. Bag follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

JoJo Tex dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Tex closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bag did well to prevent Tex getting side control.
JoJo Tex has got the better of the ground game so far.

Tex stands up out of the half guard.
Tex shoots for a takedown but Bag saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That kick from Tex tenderised Bag's leg. Bag is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tex has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Tex has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bag taking a breather.
Bag gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Tex.

Bag manages to pull guard.

Tex chips away with some ground and pound.
Bag seems keen to control Tex's posture.
Bag trying to control the position.
Tex trying to control the position from guard on top but Bag is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bag controls Tex momentarily but Tex frees himself.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bag looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tex fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Punch Bag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JoJo Tex.
Tex is breathing heavily.
Bag misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tex is looking for the big counter here.
Bag wants to clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tex throws a leg kick which misses Bag's front leg but catches the back leg as Bag tries to avoid it.
Bag tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tex swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bag looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bag misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tex.
Bag fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tex on the side of the head.
Tex blocks a head kick by Bag.
Bag lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bag fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tex avoids it really well and circles away.

Bag lands with a nice body punch.

Tex clinches with his opponent.

Tex jumps guard and drags Bag to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Tex can't keep his opponent in guard - Bag advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tex is defending against the submission attempts here by Bag.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bag is looking to take a break and control but Tex is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Punch Bag will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tex is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bag gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Tex is trying to trip Bag. He has hold of a leg but Bag is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tex persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Tex pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bag is keeping the position for now.
Tex must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bag wants to stand but Tex is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tex looking to sit in guard and control but Bag gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Tex wriggles free and stands up.

Tex keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tex tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bag defends well and Tex ends up having to push Bag into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
As Tex looks to move away, Bag throws a big counter combo but Tex just gets out of the way.
Tex takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Danga de danga de dang - Bag scores with a four punch combination!
Tex misses with a leg kick.
Bag fails with a takedown attempt.
Bag falls off balance throwing a combination

and Tex decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bag's guard.

Bag uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Bag shoots in for a takedown but Tex shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bag shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Punch Bag. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bag misses with a body shot.
Bag closes the distance looking to clinch

and Tex counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bag won't be happy with that.
Bag is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Tex trying to control the action but Bag is working from the bottom.
Bag tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tex wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Tex in side control, throwing shots but Bag defends.
Tex is looking to take a break and control but Bag is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bag trying to control but Tex flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Bag is really stuck here.
Bag trying to get back to his feet but Tex is in full control for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
