Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leepo Greepo (ranked 1623 p4p, 3051 weight class) and Kai Killington (ranked 248 p4p, 424 weight class). Leepo Greepo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leepo Greepo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kai Killington!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Killington gets the takedown into side control.
Killington is looking to take a break and control but Greepo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Greepo manages to work his way to half guard, despite Killington's best efforts.
Greepo is holding on to half guard well.
Killington not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Greepo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Killington prevents Greepo from improving his position.
Greepo works his way to full guard. Good work.

Killington is fighting to break Greepo's control of his arms but Greepo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Greepo has his foot on Killington's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Killington works his way back into a safe position though.
Greepo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Greepo is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Killington looking for a sweep. Not yet Killington, not yet.
Greepo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Killington swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Greepo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Killington trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Greepo works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Greepo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Killington sees it coming and defends easily.
Killington tries to get to full guard but Greepo has control of the leg.

Greepo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Killington trying to control but Greepo postures up.
Greepo is pressing down on Killington's thigh, looking to free his foot. Killington is holding on for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Killington is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Killington is trying to control but can't.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Killington.
Killington postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Greepo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Killington looks winded!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Greepo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Greepo pulls Killington in close to prevent any damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Leepo Greepo will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Killington misses with a series of wild punches.

Greepo gets a double leg takedown into Killington's guard.
Killington is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Greepo dives into side control.


Greepo is trying to get an arm triangle but Killington is defending well.
Killington is letting Greepo control him for a moment.
Greepo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Killington tries to bench press Greepo off him but Greepo keeps the position.
Greepo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Greepo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Killington knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The referee asks Greepo politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Greepo prefers to stall for the moment though.
Greepo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Killington really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Greepo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Killington's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Greepo controls the position from side control.

Greepo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Killington knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Greepo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Killington, who protects the arm well.

Killington is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Greepo has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Greepo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Greepo controlling the pace.
Killington is trying to stand up here but Greepo is controlling him well.
Greepo passes to full mount!

Greepo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Greepo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Greepo wants to take Killington's back here but Killington is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Greepo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Killington can do to turn this around?

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Greepo forces the positional change into back control.

Greepo patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
What can Killington do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Greepo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Killington has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Leepo Greepo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Greepo is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Killington is tapping out! This one is all over!
