PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baron Bully (ranked 4308 p4p, 4285 weight class) and George Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Baron Bully!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bully moves out of range of the body kick from Tucker.
Bully shoots for a double leg takedown but Tucker sprawls well. He's pushed Bully's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tucker wants to counter with a clinch but Bully pushes him away.

Bully darts in and clinches Tucker up against the cage.
Tucker throws a head punch that misses.
A nice left hand lands by Tucker.
Bully has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tucker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tucker tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bully's elbow.
Bully blocking some punches.
Bully wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bully blocks an uppercut.
Bully is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tucker is defending well for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tucker lands an elbow inside that Bully shrugs off.

It looks like Baron Bully has been cut.
Bully tries for a takedown but Tucker manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baron Bully. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tucker manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Tucker is pressed up against the cage. Bully has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tucker down to the mat. Tucker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tucker closes the distance and clinches.
Tucker throws an elbow that misses.
Tucker stalls.
Tucker is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Tucker continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Bully will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tucker up against the cage.

Tucker has a couple of punches blocked by Bully.
Oh Bully is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tucker has Bully pushed against the cage.
Bully seems to have got his legs back now.
Tucker pushes Bully against the cage. Tucker is working some dirty boxing. Tucker pushes off with a quick right hook! Bully goes down! Bully tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Tucker moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
