Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arne Kristiansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Serg Killov!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Kristiansen lands with an overhand left.

Kristiansen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Killov in his tracks.

Killov dives in and grabs Kristiansen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kristiansen pushes down on Killov's head and hops out.
It looked like Kristiansen wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Kristiansen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Kristiansen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Killov drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kristiansen defends it well.

Kristiansen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A decent looking cross lands there for Kristiansen.
Kristiansen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Kristiansen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Killov has his takedown stuffed
and Kristiansen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Arne Kristiansen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Serg Killov.
Kristiansen throws a hook to the side of Killov's head but Killov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Killov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Killov drops back looking for a leg! Kristiansen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kristiansen manages to kick Killov off! Killov jumps back into Kristiansen's guard.

Killov drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Killov as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Kristiansen screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Killov! Nice submission victory there!
