Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ooah Yoah (ranked 5539 p4p, 4083 weight class) and Ja Maica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoah fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Yoah gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Yoah takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Yoah takes the fight into the clinch.
Yoah is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Maica to keep the fight standing.

Maica fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Yoah tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Maica's elbow.
Maica has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Yoah fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maica, pushing him back against the cage.
Maica wants to break the clinch but can't.

Yoah breaks the clinch.

Yoah fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Maica to the ground. Yoah is now in Maica's guard.
Yoah stopping the sweep attempt from Maica.
Yoah in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Yoah trying to stand up but can't free himself from Maica's guard.
Yoah stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maica swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Maica is trying to control the position but Yoah postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maica is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Yoah is looking for a sweep. Maica is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Yoah manages to get to full guard.
Maica trying to control but Yoah is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maica looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Yoah is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Maica presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Yoah pulls guard successfully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Maica controlling from the top position.
Maica wants to control from the top but Yoah keeps moving.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ooah Yoah dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Maica looks to land a combination but Yoah avoids it well.
Yoah tries to clinch there but Maica circles away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Maica. That's going to slow Yoah down.
Yoah shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Maica is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Yoah with a body shot.
Ooah Yoah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maica lands a glancing blow to the side of Yoah's head.
Yoah with a lazy takedown attempt
and Maica counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Yoah shoots in looking for a takedown but Maica manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yoah's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Maica pounces like a tiger and cracks Yoah with a vicious hook! Yoah is down but not out! Maica follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ja Maica!
A very excited looking Ja Maica rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
