Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Fixit (ranked 3623 p4p, 3899 weight class) and Magomed Omarov (ranked 442 p4p, 473 weight class). Magomed Omarov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jimmy Fixit's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Fixit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Magomed Omarov!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fixit gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fixit blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
With the fighters up against the cage, Fixit throws an elbow but misses.
Omarov breaks from the clinch.
Fixit tries to close the distance and clinch but Omarov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Omarov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fixit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Omarov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And Omarov tries to counter it with a takedown but Fixit pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fixit clinches up with Omarov and pushes him back against the cage.

Fixit stands and steps away. Omarov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Omarov shoots in and bounces Fixit off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Omarov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fixit swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fixit tries to close the distance and clinch but Omarov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fixit wants to get back to his feet but Omarov is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Fixit throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Omarov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fixit does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Omarov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Omarov stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Fixit to get to his feet.

Omarov jumps guard and drags Fixit to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Fixit throws an elbow that misses. Omarov uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fixit's guard. Nice move by Omarov!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fixit is fighting off a takedown attempt but Omarov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fixit to the mat. Fixit regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

and Omarov counters with a crisp one two that drops Fixit! Omarov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Fixit to his feet! Fixit is in big trouble!
