Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Xaziver Bouchet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grom Scream (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouchet tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Scream swivels and escapes.
Bouchet wants to clinch up but Scream keeps it at a distance.
Bouchet tries to clinch but Scream moves out of range.
Bouchet moves in looking to clinch but Scream pushes him off.
Xaziver Bouchet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bouchet tries to clinch up.
Bouchet tries to clinch there but Scream circles away.

Scream drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bouchet knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scream on the ground.
Bouchet gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Scream cracks Bouchet with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bouchet really wants to buck Scream off and get back to his feet.

Scream goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bouchet is on top in guard.
Scream is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bouchet would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Scream looks for a takedown but Bouchet sprawls well.
Scream shoots in for a takedown but Bouchet shows good takedown defense.

Scream is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bouchet wants to clinch

and Scream counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bouchet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scream sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
I looks like Scream might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Scream working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Scream goes for an armbar but Bouchet turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bouchet.

Scream has his foot on Bouchet's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bouchet works his way back into a safe position though.
Scream not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Despite being in the dominant position, Grom Scream just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bouchet doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Scream counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Scream.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xaziver Bouchet. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bouchet wants to stand and escape but Scream is having none of it.
Scream pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bouchet is keeping the position for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bouchet tries to clinch

and Scream counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Scream.

Scream stands up and waves to Bouchet to follow him.
Bouchet wants to clinch but Scream slips to the side

so Scream counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bouchet wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Scream manages to pass to side control.
Scream uses his free foot to push down on Bouchet's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bouchet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Scream is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Bouchet is in real trouble.

Scream is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Scream is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bouchet knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bouchet for a finish.

Bouchet is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Scream changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bouchet looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Scream grinds an elbow into Bouchet's temple.

Scream wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bouchet, who protects the arm well.
Scream lands some shots froms side control.
Bouchet pushes Scream away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Scream gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Scream wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bouchet keeps working.
Scream has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Scream lands a heavy elbow.
Scream trying to control but Bouchet is having none of it.
