Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gurizuri Nakamura (ranked 457 p4p, 266 weight class) and Barack Obaminator (ranked 67 p4p, 40 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gurizuri Nakamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barack Obaminator!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obaminator lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Obaminator looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Nakamura tries to counter with a takedown but Obaminator is quick to defend against it.
Nakamura scores with a body shot.
Obaminator lands a jab to the nose.
Obaminator misses with a low kick.

and Nakamura counters with a shoot takedown. Obaminator fights it but they end up in guard.
Nakamura postures up in Obaminator's guard and throws a big left but Obaminator blocks it.

Nakamura in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Nakamura lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Obaminator working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nakamura doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nakamura manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We've been hearing that Nakamura has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Nakamura tries to free his leg and advance position but Obaminator is retaining full guard.
Nakamura wants to control from the top but Obaminator keeps moving.
Nakamura stands up over Obaminator, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Obaminator is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Nakamura rolls with it to try and escape but Obaminator cranks on the arm and Nakamura is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
