The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Dodgers darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dodgers takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Duck Dodgers has been cut.
McGuire throws a hook but Dodgers avoids it easily.
Ralph McGuire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dodgers sizes up McGuire with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Dodgers takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McGuire ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dodgers moves away.

McGuire fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dodgers looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dodgers is looking to counter the offense by McGuire and move into the clinch.

Dodgers was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McGuire checks a leg kick.
McGuire throws a leg kick which misses Dodgers's front leg but catches the back leg as Dodgers tries to avoid it.

and McGuire counters with a crisp right hand that drops Dodgers! McGuire lets Dodgers back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Dodgers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dodgers seems to have got his legs back now.

Are you kidding me?! McGuire ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Dodgers clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
