Kakuto comes to the cage accompanied by Gorillaz-Dirty Harry. Tsuyoi Kakuto could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sutarjo Sukarman's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kakuto feints and as Sukarman raises his hands in defense, Kakuto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sukarman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kakuto engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kakuto has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kakuto pushing down on Sukarman's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kakuto content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sukarman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kakuto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kakuto's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kakuto closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sukarman did well to prevent Kakuto getting side control.

Kakuto has hold of Sukarman's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sukarman seems comfortable defending it but Kakuto has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sukarman is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sukarman is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kakuto couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tsuyoi Kakuto!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Tsuyoi Kakuto waved his t-shirt featuring Fantasy Threads (Laundry 15%)'s logo in front of the cameras.
