The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Callaghan V instigates a clinch.

Mazzolari manages to break the clinch.

Mazzolari lands a big right hand that sends Callaghan V crashing to the mat! Mazzolari stays standing though and waves Callaghan V back to his feet!

Callaghan V dives in for a single leg takedown but Mazzolari sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Mazzolari drops Callaghan V with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Callaghan V looks back up at him and smiles so Mazzolari waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Callaghan V closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mazzolari throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Callaghan V sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Callaghan V unleashes a big counter combination but Mazzolari bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Mazzolari lands a big uppercut and Callaghan V crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Callaghan V looks OK. Mazzolari waves Callaghan V back to his feet!

Mazzolari is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Mazzolari feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Callaghan V sprawling to the canvas! Callaghan V rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mazzolari finish him?!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mazzolari cracks Callaghan V with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Callaghan V looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mazzolari finish him?

Mazzolari ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Callaghan V's jaw. Callaghan V's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Mazzolari does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
