Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Rolinha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rolinha comes into the arena with Paul Engemann - Push It To The Limit blaring out of the sound system. Nick Taylor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolinha throws a head kick but Taylor moves out of range.
Rolinha swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Taylor.
Taylor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rolinha circles away.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rolinha accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Taylor has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rolinha is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Taylor.

Rolinha walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Taylor checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Taylor is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rolinha's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rolinha's back!

Taylor has his foot on Rolinha's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rolinha works his way back into a safe position though.

Taylor throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rolinha escapes and throws Taylor's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Rolinha is working to tighten is grip on Taylor's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Taylor has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rolinha is really squeezing tight and eventually Taylor passes out! Rolinha breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
