Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Nyla (ranked 427 p4p, 1229 weight class) and Jello Belly (ranked 68 p4p, 166 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jello Belly!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belly misses with a hook
and Nyla counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
No joy there for Belly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jello Belly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nyla closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Belly moves out of range of the strikes.
A little jabbing left from Belly on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Belly is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Nyla lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nyla has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Nyla is fighting to break Belly's control of his arms but Belly is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Belly shoots in and bounces Nyla off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Belly stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nyla swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Belly stands and steps away. Nyla gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Nyla counters with a left to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nyla has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nyla there as he acknowledges the shot.

Nyla swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Sammy Nyla has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jello Belly.
Belly needs to keep his hands up - Nyla had a free shot at his head there.

Belly stalks Nyla and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nyla's face. Nyla staggers backwards, shaken.

Belly closes the distance and clinches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Belly connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

and Nyla counters with a huge left! Belly is in big trouble! He's backing up but Nyla isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Belly from any more damage. A dominating finish by Nyla!
