Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eli Goode (ranked 1907 p4p, 1488 weight class) and Yadiel Brown (ranked 245 p4p, 189 weight class). Goode comes to the cage accompanied by Colby Covington, Kurt Angle Music. Brown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. City of Angels kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goode listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

It looks like Yadiel Brown has been cut.

Goode lands a big uppercut and Brown crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Brown looks OK. Goode waves Brown back to his feet!
Brown misses with an uppercut. Goode saw that one coming.
Goode uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brown.
A little feinted left hand from Goode on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Yadiel Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Goode moves into range and connects with a jab.

Goode drops Brown with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Brown looks back up at him and smiles so Goode waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Goode stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brown.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brown fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Goode.
Brown stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Brown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Goode stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Brown lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brown.

Brown has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yadiel Brown's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Eli Goode bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
