The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mferi moves out of range as Christ strikes.
A big right from Mferi misses.
Christ avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Christ looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Mferi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Mferi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Christ, pushing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A frustrated look appears on Christ's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Christ swings wildly with an uppercut but Mferi uses good head movement to avoid it.

Mferi drops Christ onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Christ is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

It looks like Jabba Christ has been cut.
Mferi digs a right hand underneath Christ's ribcage. Christ let out a lung full of air as it connected.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Mferi unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Christ! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Mferi is unloading with more strikes now! Christ drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
