Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Carvalho (ranked 2514 p4p, 4109 weight class) and Rutger Petrov (ranked 279 p4p, 426 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jonas Carvalho has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jonas Carvalho seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho tries to bum rush Petrov with a series of wild strikes but Petrov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Petrov stalks Carvalho and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carvalho's face. Carvalho staggers backwards, shaken.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Petrov looking to score a takedown here. Carvalho is defending well but Petrov drives through and ends up in Carvalho's guard.

Petrov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Carvalho is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Petrov , into his guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Carvalho has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Petrov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Carvalho is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Petrov pulls down on the head and he's put Carvalho to sleep! This one is all over!
