Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Buzz Killer (ranked 641 p4p, 1100 weight class) and Tobias Berge (ranked 97 p4p, 148 weight class). The key to victory for Buzz Killer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buzz Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tobias Berge!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer looks to land a combination but Berge avoids it well.
Berge throws out a counter right but Killer avoids it with no problem.
Killer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Jungle Room in the buildup to the fight.

Berge moves into the clinch.
Berge tries to pull guard but Killer won't allow it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Berge has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Killer blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Berge tries to land knees in the clinch but Killer avoids the damage to the body.

Buzz Killer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tobias Berge.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Killer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Berge tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Killer's elbow.

Killer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Berge has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Killer finds it's way round the side to connect with Berge's head.
Berge shoots in looking for a takedown. Killer tries to sprawl out of it but Berge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Killer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Berge looks to land a right hand but Killer moved out of range.
Buzz Killer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Berge walks into a stiff left hand from Killer.

Berge dives in and scores a takedown into Killer's guard.

Berge drops back, looking for a kneebar! Killer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Killer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Killer!

Berge tries to lock up and control but Killer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Berge bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Berge is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Berge is looking for submissions but instead, Killer has regained full guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Killer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Berge paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Killer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Horrible takedown attempt by Berge or perhaps it was just good defense by Killer, which made it look bad.

Berge closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Killer is not content to let Berge control the position.
Killer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Berge can do to turn this around?

Berge is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Killer has escaped the position, nice work there.

Berge goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Killer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Berge but great work by Killer.

Berge is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Killer defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Berge has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Killer has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Berge is persistently looking for the submission but Killer is defending it well.

Berge swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Killer is now in Berge's guard. A big mistake from Berge there, giving up the dominant position!

Berge escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Killer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Berge has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Killer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Berge has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Killer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Berge.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Killer lands a nice looking body shot.
Killer stuns Berge with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Berge tries to clinch up but Killer circles away and keeps his distance.

Killer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Berge's head backwards.

Berge takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Berge shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Killer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Berge postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Killer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Berge, into his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Berge gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Killer is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Berge with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Killer to score with a decent uppercut.
