Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandar Ivkov (ranked 1456 p4p, 2031 weight class) and Millard Masters (ranked 129 p4p, 181 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Masters's choice of entrance music: Enter the Sandman. The key to victory for Aleksandar Ivkov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivkov connects with a high kick.
Ivkov lands with a cross.
Ivkov pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Masters back to the cage. Ivkov follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Masters is rocked!
It looks like Millard Masters has been cut.
Ivkov misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Masters counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ivkov won't be happy with that.
Masters working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Masters takes a little break here. Ivkov wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Ivkov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Masters on the ground.
Masters has hold of Ivkov's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ivkov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Masters cranks the arm and Ivkov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ivkov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Millard Masters!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Millard Masters waved his t-shirt featuring Action Apparel's logo in front of the cameras.
