PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between J Gay G (ranked 1017 p4p, 2514 weight class) and Karsten Koererlaerer (ranked 91 p4p, 229 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gay G might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Down. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Koererlaerer with that takedown attempt.
Gay G seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Good exchange - Gay G coming out on top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Koererlaerer.
Gay G throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Koererlaerer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Gay G jerks Koererlaerer's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Koererlaerer drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Gay G goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Gay G because Koererlaerer was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
